As we pause and reflect back on the past year, we have much to celebrate. Your medical society has continued to advo- cate for you and the health and well-being of our commu- nity. Empowering you, our physician members, to be the experts you are in the Greater Louisville area, providing excellent care to this community. Through new business partnerships this year, we were able to offer various trainings, social events and exclusive services available only to GLMS members. We’ve seen an increase in our membership numbers, as we focus on membership recruitment and retention. Thanks to the involvement and passion of you our members, GLMS has had another successful year. As we look to the future, we know that together we can continue to accomplish much. GLMS fiscal year is April 1, 2019 – March 31, 2020. All data reported below is from that time period. 28 The new Med30 process for initial applications launched on 11/1/2019. Since then, we have an average turnaround of 28 calendar days from receipt of a clean application to delivery to our hospital clients. Provider Enrollment saves a total of 926 hours of practice staff time. $158,396 – total recouped on behalf of practices. 45 hassles reported with an average of $3,520 recovered per hassle. % 4.73 percent increase in active membership GLMS partnered with KMA to get the DOI to remove in-person photo ID requirement at the time of application for credentialing. This will go into effect on July 1, 2020 Launched redesigned, user friendly new website for GLMS and GLMS Foundation. 13 GLMS Resolutions Passed at KMA Annual Meeting Launched mentoring program for first- year medical students where 50 GLMS members offered their time and talent to invest in the future of medicine. The Senior Physicians Committee met and hosted 12 engaging speakers on topics both medical and non-medical. 2020 ANNUAL REPORT
