orthopedic and
sports medicine team
Nyagon G. Duany, M.D., is the newest orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine
specialist with Norton Orthopedic Institute.
Dr. Duany earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine,
Indianapolis, where she also completed her general surgery internship. She completed
an orthopedic surgery residency at Howard University, Washington, D.C., and a sports
medicine fellowship with the University of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Wellington Sports
Medicine in Cincinnati.
She has provided team coverage for a number of high school and college sports teams,
including football and men’s and women’s basketball at the University of Cincinnati and
football and women’s lacrosse at Howard University.
