Norton Rheumatology Specialists is growing When you have patients in need of care from a rheumatology specialist, we can help. We’ve recently added two new rheumatologists to our team: Ami S. Joglekar, M.D., earned her medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences, Washington, D.C. Dr. Joglekar completed her residency in internal medicine at University of Louisville and her fellowship at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee. Archana Srinivas, M.D., earned her medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine, Portsmouth, Dominica. Dr. Srinivas completed her residency in internal medicine at University of Kentucky and her fellowship in rheumatology at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas. These new physicians join our existing team of skilled rheumatologists, Tristan D. Blackburn, M.D., and Troy K. Takagishi, M.D. Dr. Blackburn practices a multidisciplinary approach to complex rheumatic diseases with an emphasis on improving quality of life for her patients. She has done research in osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease and has a special interest in vasculitis, rheumatoid arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus. Dr. Takagishi specializes in diagnosing and treating inflammatory rheumatic conditions, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, lupus, gout, psoriatic arthritis, spondyloarthropathies and vasculitis. His treatment approach consists of pharmacologic therapies, including injection and infusion treatments, and various nonpharmacologic therapies, such as a well-coordinated physiotherapy program.
