ourists and locals may now travel on
the Urban Bourbon Trail in downtown
Louisville, that also includes some excursions (some via chauffeured van) outside
the city. A printed tour-booklet style passport,
or an electronic version, may be picked up
free at the Visitors Center at 4th and Jefferson
Streets, or at any of the participating stops. The
Bourbon Trail also celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Congressional Resolution declaring bourbon “America’s
only native spirit.” The “Urban Bourbon Trail” concept is being
used with the permission of the Kentucky Distillers’ Association.
Louisville provides access to bourbon distilleries and to some of
the worlds’ best bourbon bars, supporting up to 150 varieties. Many
