1 DE-CONSTRUCTIVISM As a reaction to Modernist Architecture, this movement is known to not follow any rules or meet certain aesthetics but encourages the breaking down and playing around with forms and volumes. The roof observatory will be the most noticeable change to the Square Tower, attracting visitors to explore inside. Developing models which explore how geometric forms can expand and grow off the roof and engage with the site below, as if the form is descending down in contrast to the stability and rigid structure of the Square Tower itself. It creates a sense of play rather than off-guard nature of a building built for defence. 12
