What made you want to start drawing?
It is not one single thing that maybe wanted to start drawing and painting and being creative
and I just loved using my hands to create something I can remember back as far as five years
old creating a pirate flag with a piece of black material I found and then use the piece of white
chalk rather than drawing the traditional skull and cross bones I drew an intricate pirate ship
with the sails up at full mast! I just remembered felt real good to have had made something
rather than go to the store and buy that item.
What is your main goal as an artist?
my main goal as an artist is to just continue to create hopefully on a daily basis something
that will make few people feel something when they see a painting or even a sculpture I want
them to go away with the thought wow I need to chase my own dreams, whatever those are
whatever those were whatever I thought was beyond my grasp. Another part of the goal
would be to have a big gallery get behind me so I can focus totally on my arm and not the
business end of things.
Do you have other interest besides art?
yes aside from Art I have many interests which include The charity work I do especially with
the dream Center in Los Angeles, my involvement with Shanes Inspiration (they build parts
all over the country and world that are completely accessible for people with disabilities
specially wheelchairs along with that there’s an educational program we bring a busload of
disable children to the park along with the busload of able-bodied children we then pair them
off one on one for about four hours so that they can interact and realize this able children have
the same desires when it comes to play and living life is an able-bodied child it’s a beautiful
thing to watch and witness! Some other I Love to do is go waterskiing on a ski I designed for
quadriplegics I love to go boating I love concerts ballgames just to name a few.
