WILL FINN
THE GREAT
Will Finn is an elite animator, voice actor and director of our times. He has
worked on Disney and Don Bluth films. With his characters in hit films
like Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Aladdin, Chicken Little,
and Beauty and the Beast, we are more than honored to have him grace our
pages. Dating back to 1978, Will Finn has helped bring some of our all-time
favorites to a theater near you. Throughout 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s, Will Finn
has pretty much been the go-to guy. For those of you starting a film project
and wanting one of the best ever, we suggest Will Finn, Summa Cum Laude.
We were able to catch up with Mr. Finn, and here’s how that played out.

Who is your greatest influence
art wise?
Well I was a very big Disney fan
and studied a lot of the animators from the “golden age” of
the old classic stuff: mostly
the 40’s. When I was a kid there
wasn’t much information about
specific artists but people were
just starting to write seriously
about animation (mid-1970’s). MAD
magazine was also a huge influence, in artwork and attitude.
