Number One:
If you're going to walk around the neighborhood, go in a group, even if it's a neighborhood you know well. I don't mean just bring one other person with you(unless it's a parent or older sibling who doesn't play Pokemon Go)-I mean go in at least groups of four. Groups of three is fine, but I recommend groups of four, since groups of three is only a little bit better than two. However, if you go to your local library or park, chances are there will be a lot of other people playing too, which brings me to my next point.
Hello, Pokefans! Quilava the Flamethrower here! Welcome, class, to How To Play Pokemon Go Safely! Take out your devices then, stand up, push in your chairs, and let's get started!
First of all, choose your starter, quickly- Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle? If you walk past those three choices, you can choose a Pikachu. Okay, let's go outside! As you saw, the loading screen tells you to be alert of your surroundings, and the latest updates tell you not to trespass illegal onto government or other people's property while playing Pokemon Go, as well as not playing while driving a car. HEED THOSE NOTICES!! Many horrible things have happened to some Pokemon Go players who don't pay attention, such as being robbed at gunpoint, finding dead bodies, and accidentally falling off cliffs. However, most of these accidents can be avoided easily if you listen to what I have to say.
Pokemon: How to Play
Pokemon Go SAFELY
Number Four:
DO NOT TRESPASS! This one is pretty obvious. Don't go into anyone's backyard, driveway, house, or front yard to catch Pokemon. It's rude and disrespectful to their privacy, as well as illegal. You may also walk onto a convicted felon's property, which includes convicted rapists, murderers, and drug dealers. You may also be shot by your crazy paranoid neighbor so...yeah.
So, to sum it all up, being aware of your surroundings is key. There's the bell-don't run into anyone by accident though! See you all next year-class dismissed!
