Hannah to Hetalia: Hetalia is focused around the history of countries around the world. There is an educational aspect to it, as the anime/manga’s characters are personifications of the countries. Do you think this discourages people to watch the anime, or do you think the opposite?
Oh, narrator, you ask the hard questions. I'd say yes and no. While Hetalia is based off of history, it's not very helpful if you'd want to learn about history. Some people may be drawn to Hetalia because of the idea of personified nations, while some may actually avoid it because they are under the pretense that Hetalia is a boring educational show.
However, Hetalia is usually marketed as “sexy men countries” so many more people may watch it because of that. (xD)
