3. Longetivity

Quilava: And one from our very own +Trini Ashheart (hi Trini!!)

“Longetivity :p”

Not sure what you mean by that. Oh, wait. Of course I do! Pokemon will last in our hearts forever. It’s been loved by our generation, the one before us, and the coming generations after.

2. Creativity

Quilava: Here’s one I always think of—the creativity. I mean, what other game has a creature based on an ice cream cone, or the Los Angeles and New York smog? And have you ever noticed that the Kanto game towns are colors? Think about it-you start in Pallet Town(a pallet is something used to hold paint), then you go to Pewter City(a shade of grey), and Cerulean City(A shade of blue), and Lavendar Town(a shade of purple), and the Indigo Plateau. And remember New Bark Town down in Johto? Then Cherrygrove(obviously a type of tree-cherry)and Cianwood City(again, a type of tree), and Goldenrod. Did that just blow your mind? yeah, that’s completely true. For instance, you can have a variety of types on your team, or you can stick to, say, all fire! Or you can just catch pokemon you like, or catch ‘em all!

1. Morals

Quilava: Teaching you morals. Like, yeah. You battle with these creatures. But what’s one of the main points of the game? Being kind to these Pokemon. You get your first Pokemon in Johto because Professor Elm sees you as a kind trainer who will be good to their Pokemon. Your rival can’t win battles because they treat their Pokemon with no respect or love. Your Pokemon can’t win contests unless you nourish them with Pokeblocks, or basically treats to show appreciation for them. A Pokemon will not obey you if you don’t care about them and keep letting them faint in battle, wounding both their physical health and their pride. And it’s the same with the anime, too.

So that’s the top ten reasons why we love Pokemon! Send us your favorite thing about Pokemon by submitting a form through our website, or by contacting me on Google+ as +🔥Quilava the Flamethrower🔥. Thanks for reading, and Pokepeace out!
