But she had to end things with Batman. These two were a classic couple, but Batman now has a new person wearing the batsuit because Bruce Wayne has amnesia due to an attack. It is safe to say that they will not be together for a long time.
A recurring pattern here is that it is either written well, or not. Ever since the reboot, Clark and Lois were never together. Sometimes a new love interest is good for a character, but sometimes it works out catastrophically and it constantly puts down characters in favor of other characters. Like The Dick and Barbara relationship. But in my opinion, couples can either always burn bright forever, or die quickly depending on if it is a good match.
