Sherwon Wanzo was murdered @ the young age of 18 by senseless gun violence. On the early morning of April 15, 2012 Sherwon was gunned down on the Westside of Cleveland, Ohio. Sherwon was leaving a classmates graduation party with another friend on Bosworth Avenue & Thursh Avenue when the vehicle they were in was shot at with Sherwon being hit by a bullet which resulted in his death.
Sherwon was a senior @ Lakewood High School in Lakewood, Ohio where he was a star student and wrestler. Sherwon was loved by his fellow classmates, family and friends, he had a smile that would light up a room and a sense of humor to lighten any negativity or dark mood. Sadly his life was ended with no fault of his, just a random act of violence amongst our youth against our youth. Sherwons murder still goes UNSOLVED. The family needs and DESERVES closure of this senseless murder of their loved one and we as a people, the public, citizens, concerned parents, mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, need to STEP UP. We are required to step up and speak out. Someone knows something about this crude act and they need to step up to help give this family final closure. Sherwon would now be 22 years old and who knows where he would be in his life, wouldn’t you want someone to STEP UP and SPEAK OUT if it was your loved one???
