Everybody knows, I think, how much
I love comics and how much I love
everything. I got along with Beau, Beau

just got along really well. I really relate
to Beau. I think he’s a great guy. I think
he’s a fantastic guy, and I love his book
and I love his character. I picked his brain
a lot. Poor Beau. You left me alone with
a comic writer. How am I not going to
just be in awe? I spent a lot of time -he was like, for me, as much as he was

I somehow got to co-write a comic
book with frickin’ Beau Smith for
Wynonna Earp at IDW. Don’t ask
me how because I keep waiting for
someone to say, “No, no, no. We’re
taking it away.”

blessed because Beau’s been amazing...

is his book, his whole life, and just the
fact that he would let someone else
come in and write on this book… He’s
a great guy, and he’s been nothing but
just amazing and kind. I really hope -because he told me it’s true -- that he’s
been having a lot of fun doing this. I
think we stoked a little fire in him. Every
minute of this is exciting to me.
We know you are super into comics.
