I was born and raised in a rural farming community in northeastern California. I grew up in a very close
family with awesome parents and an older brother and sister. My childhood was both incredible and unique.
I spent most of my time outdoors- camping, hiking, fishing, and playing on hay bales. I graduated with 38
classmates, most of whom I knew since preschool. I was thankful for what small town life taught me and I
had many great memories, but was ready for a new adventureā¦

My new adventure landed me in the completely opposite corner of California. The transition from my remote hometown to San Diego was
drastic! But I fully embraced every new experience, including trying sushi for the first time, surfing, learning to drive on freeways and in

took every advantage of living in such close proximity to the ocean. San Diego was everything I wanted and more, but I again found
myself ready to embark on a new chapter of my lifeā¦

June was more difficult. However, I not only adjusted to Arizona life, I came to love it. I spent the past two years in Arizona working as an
ED scribe at Scottsdale Healthcare. The experiences I had and the people I met through this job have exceeded all my expectations. I
truly would not change anything about the past two years, even though it meant leaving the beach in my rearview mirror. I have not only
been able to work a job I love, but I have had ample time for other things in my life, such as hiking, snowboarding, running, practicing
yoga, traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family. I was also able to convince my boyfriend that our life was not yet
complete without a dog. Our puppy, Jax, has more than filled that void. I am both elated and grateful to be
