They come to the rescue in healthcare facilities every day — spending hours cleaning and sanitizing to create safe , healthy environments for patients , residents , staff , volunteers and visitors .
The 2021 Cintas C . A . P . E . Award is your chance to make sure they ’ re recognized for all their “ hard work on the frontline of patient care . Nominate a deserving acute or long-term care EVS technician by submitting their inspiring story of kindness and courage , and they could win a $ 2,500 cash prize plus a $ 2,500 donation on their behalf to their healthcare institution . Ten winners will be chosen , and nominees must be 18 years or older and have been employed with the same acute or long-term care healthcare facility for at least one year .
