building infrastructure. She sees successful relationships between people. Sharing a perspective that many Americans might find surprising, she says, “If you visit the industrial areas around some of these settlements, you'll see Jews and Palestinians working side by side, eating their lunches together. They invite each other to their weddings and bar mitzvahs. And the Palestinians working in these industrial areas are earning five times more than they would earn working elsewhere. And that's why spreading the truth is so important. When I was in Florida, I spoke to a group of about 20 pastors. If each of them goes back and speaks to 1,000 people, then I've helped 20,000 people learn the truth about what's really going on in Israel. We are all soldiers in this war. This is how I've found a way to fight this war.”
