Red onions & Capers ** Can be found at Sprouts. Trader Joe’s sells a version under the name Sonoma—they are slightly larger and calories go up to 60 each. Our remix version is a slam dunk in the calorie department. You can even have a second serving and still be ahead of the game! Our illustrious publisher, Jon Strum, taste tested this dish…and even though, like most folks trying to lose weight, we immediately frown at anything different from what we are used to, in the end he gave it a thumbs up! Last month I reported that I was on a mission to lose the last of my weight, which is roughly 40lbs. I weighed in at 1 94lbs and as I write this article I am 184lbs.That is pretty significant for a month, and it's highly unlikely I will see that that kind of drop next month. At least half of that was water weight, but a loss is a loss and I will keep at it and see where I land next month.
