Donald Trump isn't from Long Beach. So why is he on the cover of Long Beach Jewish Life? Trump's candidacy -- his own words and his own actions and sometimes his lack of words or actions -- has brought the all too familiar hate rhetoric of anti-Semitic extremists into the mainstream, legitimizing those groups and their agenda. And that agenda represents a threat to the American Jewish community. And that includes our community.
This is an important story that should be read and carefully considered. And so, it takes its place on this month's cover.
