Awards Dinner

The California Conference for Equality and Justice (CCEJ) will present its 2016 Humanitarian Awards at a dinner to be held on May 25, at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach.

This year's honorees are Liz & Jim Breslauer, Long Beach Police Chief Robert Luna, Terry Geiling, and Darick Simpson. These community leaders will be recognized for their efforts to advance the mission of the California Conference for Equality and Justice, their civic contributions, and their life-long commitment to humanity and justice.

The Assistance League of Long Beach will also receive the Building Bridges Award for its extraordinary contributions to building an inclusive community in Long Beach.

Julie and Walter Larkins are this year’s Dinner Co-Chairs, and will lead the ceremonies for the evening.
