SDN 7 JENGGALA
This pop up school was entirely funded by Jackson Groves' adventure trip where 10 people had the experience of a lifetime to off-beat locations on Lombok. 100% of the travelers’ fees went towards funding two pop up schools on Lombok - SDN 7 Jenggala was one of them.
Construction of Jenggala pop up school began on the 15th of February. Classroom of Hope and Pelita Foundation were joined by community stakeholders, the Chief of Education for the Tanjung sub-district and Jackson Groves to break ground and get the building started. A team of dedicated local contractors were able to finish this school in under 10 days. Construction was finished on the 23rd of February and children began classes on the 26th of February.
