Pros:
- Very little ink odor - great for full color cups used for hot drinks
Cons:
- Ink odor may be present if printed area is over 25% or more
of the cup (prevalent when cup is used for warm/hot products)

FLEXOGRAPHY PRINTING
The preferred printing method for most custom printed cups
unless there is more than 25% or more ink coverage for a cup
intended for use with a hot product.
Cons:
- Higher minimums to prevent loss due to a considerable amount
more paper waste from each print
- Spot process color only - requires all separate colors, limiting
color choices to PANTONE® colors only.
- Higher plate costs compared to offset printing.
- Over-run or under-run of final quantity may exceed the given
+/- 10% variance due to the nature of the printing process.
Mandatory printing method for all custom cup for hot food
products where the artwork area exceeds 25% of total surface
area.
