Presenters
Meet Your Hosts
An integral part of the music industry is radio-play of the hits, and the DJs who play the
music. It is therefore fitting that a number of well-known DJs are part of the Lockdown
Legends production, including our two presenting hosts.
SEAN BROKENSHA
Renowned as the Musicguru, Sean Bokensha has worked in radio,
television and live entertainment since the mid-80s. He
has written, produced and directed media broadcasts
on DSTV, BBC, SABC and ETV, and has also worked
extensively, in those capacities, in the education,
health and corporate spheres.
For the past two decades he has presented radio
and TV shows specifically about music, and its
relationship with our everyday lives and broader
global issues, on a variety of platforms including
702, SAFM, Cape Talk, Mnet Mzani and ETV.
Sean also consults for the film and advertising
industry, and works as a copywriter in the music
industry, encompassing biographies, press releases
and liner notes. He has been a judge and copywriter for
The Backing Vocalist and Session Musicians Awards since
2015. Sean also lectured radio production and presentation at the
Tshwane University of Technology for three years.
GUEST HOSTS &
SHOUT-OUTS
We’re privileged to have a host of fellow musicians, wellknown
DJs and music industry celebs also involved in Lockdown
Legends, some of whom make guest appearances in
the show, and others who help introduce some of the acts.
They also helped market and promote the show before the
time, and we’d like to say a huge thank you to all!
Darren Scott
Dave Guselli
He presented the regular Musicguru feature, which ran on Talk Radio 702
for 18 years. Sean still occasionally does features on 702 Cape Talk, but
now hosts Sean Brokensha’s Musicguru Mix, on Mix Fm. Sean is also a live
entertainer, public speaker and MC, with a wide diversity of corporate, school,
private and theatre audiences. Ultimately, driving these various endeavours has
always been Sean’s passion – not only for music, but ultimately the telling of a
well-crafted story that will enrich lives.

SAMANTHA LEHOKO
Eastern Cape born Samantha Lehoko found her passion for
entertainment and the performing arts at the tender age of
13. She honed her radio skills at UCT’s campus radio,
hosting a myriad of shows and keeping audiences
glued to their speakers. From taking Dramatic Arts
as an eighth subject in high school to studying
Ethics, Anthropology and Sociology at tertiary level,
Sam has managed to channel her knowledge
and experiences into the media and broadcasting
industry.
Benjy Mudie
Peter Wise
YFM caught hold of Sam in 2014 and found
someone young, fresh and fun, but most importantly,
different, and she went on to also work
for Metro FM and Power FM. Clearly born for the
entertainment industry, this young and dynamic talent
then caught the eyes of local TV producers and became
the face of Channel O and a presenter on Turn Up. She was also
responsible for keeping partygoers in the loop of the hottest parties on ETV’s
popular music show, Club 808. This diverse and multi-talented young woman
has become a favourite in the different media platforms ranging from radio,
television, event emceeing and public speaking.
