EDITOR ’ S Letter
We have so much to say about this
year . Where should we start from ? The trade war or delve straight into the COVID-19 series . Yes , series ; the issues associated with this year is enough to make great motion pictures . My heart goes out to all those who have passed way this year especially those who painfully exited due to Corona .
As sad and bad as it may seem or in fact is ; Corona has rather unearthed a number of things which have perhaps been oblivious to humanity . RELIGION is top on the list . At this point in human history that religion was expected to save the day ; it failed to live up to expectations or should we say we dare not put the Lord our God to test ? I ’ m not into testing God either . As the world race for survival , some part of humanity still found the space to be themselves as though there was nothing at stake .

Rap beefs sprung up . New EPs were released . Alas there ’ s something to live for . Sarkodie and Ball J gave us lyrical bouts during this period . Young rappers like Freddy Hayz didn ’ t want to be left out of the excitement . He decided to bless his fans with a new EP title Conversations . A first time listen to it when I received it , inspired me to have some selfreflections . I needed to search deep into my life and evaluate the relationship I have with people around me and speaking with Freddy Hayz , I could barely see a conflict between his talent and his truth .
What are you to look out for in this issue ? A lot within this restricted space of lockdown . Ball J made time to have a conversation with us . Obibini open about his career and life ; who ever thought all these could happen in 2020 but they did .
