CSM : I had a conversation with Reggie Rockstone and he mentioned that the younger generation does not honor the legends enough , what do you say to that ? FRH : That ’ s true . They indeed paved the way for us to come through however there ’ s still a lot to be done and as younger generation we still need them to help us going through . We do honor and acknowledge them however with all the challenges we as young artistes are facing , it becomes close to impossible to still make time to applaud the legends before us . I think that the media and the music union need to know more to put our legends on the spot so that we will appreciate these legends more . CSM : You mentioned challenges , what are some of the challenges you have been facing ? FRH : Top on the list was my parents . I come from a very strong Christian family . My father heads a church so you can imagine . I had to hide my craft for a long time . Another challenge has to do with the structures we have here in this country in terms of distribution . We don ’ t get what ’ s worth for our craft as far as monetization is concerned and that hurts our craft a lot . CSM : What ’ s next after ‘ Conversations ’? FRH : More ‘ Conversations ’ hahahaha … I will be having a lot of conversations with my fans for a while before something else comes up . CSM : Well , this is where we draw the curtains .
