What is the song you have stuck in your head these days ?
OBIBINI : That should be “ Wrowro Wonsa , Fa Samina Y3 ,” The song is everywhere . I turn on my TV , I turn on my radio and boom , and it is playing .
What is the weirdest / funniest question you ’ ve been asked during an interview ?
OBIBINI : One time , I was asked if I ever did a verse for a female artist and got paid in kind . Weird right ?

If you could be a fruit which one would you be and why ?
OBIBINI : Sour sop ! Hard outside , sweet and soft inside .
On a scale of 1 to 301 , how good is your new single compared to the last one ?
OBIBINI : My current single is titled 32 Bars . It came out some weeks back and it became a trending topic as soon as it was out . It trended for two days on Twitter at 9th and 10th positions respectively . It did magic because the people know Obibini is good and all rap lovers could connect with it . It did better than the one I had released previously called Ogbeni . Ogbeni is an afro song and because the promo is still being worked on , it has been on a steady rise . But 32 Bars is fire . It ’ s still enjoying mad remarks .
If you could take anyone dead or alive on a date , who would it be and why ?

What one experience in your life that without it , you wouldn ’ t be the artist you are today ?
OBIBINI : At a point in life , I had nothing but my ability to do music . I was stuck in the streets for a while when I couldn ’ t pursue my university degree program due to the hardship at the time . Music became my refuge and street life taught me how to channel all my energy into it .
Can you elaborate a bit on Rex Omar ’ s misunderstanding with you ?
OBIBINI : Uncle Rex got upset with me for using a line of his for a chorus in my song Gogo Woho . I had sought his permission , but we weren ’ t able to come into an agreement on time . But all ended amicably and we ’ re great friends now as we speak . We even have a song together that will be out soon .
That is good to hear , but were you at fault initially ?
OBIBINI : Yes I was . I have learnt my lessons and hope other musicians learn from it as well . Matters pertaining to intellectual property must be approached with great caution and professionalism .
Which one musician would you like to collaborate with ?
OBIBINI : Dj Khaled .
