WHERE GREEN BEER IS ALWAYS FLOWING
SOMETIMES YOU JUST NEED A LITTLE MIDTOWN IN YOUR LIFE. Any
given (insert just about any day of the week here), you will find droves of
Houstonians trying their best to parallel park when the valet is full, waiting
in lines, jaywalking like nobody’s business – and partying. Maybe you
haven’t been in a while, or maybe you left your keys and cell phone
somewhere on Smith Street last night; either way, you may not know Celtic
Garden is now Irish Cowboy.
The rebranded and expanded Irish pub (the Irish part) now has a bigger
backyard beer garden (the Cowboy part) filled with seating, cornhole,
ping pong, pergolas, shade sails, string lights, a stage for live music or a
DJ, about 1 million TVs, speakers to make music for miles and a whole new
Texas-sized bar. They pretty much nailed the reno with the additions out
here. Reserve a section for your after-work happy hour, or go with 25
friends to watch college football – it really does not matter why
