Deep inside River Oaks is the RIVER OAKS SHOPPING CENTER , Houston ’ s oldest of its kind . It ’ s a pedestrian-friendly development that includes restaurants like Americas and La Griglia , independent retailers like Casa de Novia , Atrium Ready to Wear and St . Cloud , and national names like Sur la Table , Steinway Piano Gallery and The Gap . Travel back toward The Galleria on Westheimer and you ’ ll hit HIGHLAND VILLAGE – with Anthropologie , Williams Sonoma , Restoration Hardware , Banana Republic , Kiehl ’ s and RA Sushi .
