SCENE EVENT: BERING OMEGA’S 21ST ANNUAL SING FOR HOPE GALA: COME TO THE CABARET WHERE: HOTEL DEREK Raising $150,000 for people living with HIV/AIDS and other healthcare challenges, this event was a night to remember. 250 guests enjoyed appetizers, cocktails, an intimate dinner and a montage of songs from “Life is a Cabaret.” Camilla Zamora, HSPVA graduate and founder of Bering Omega’s Sing for Hope Event, awed the audience with a stunning rendition of “La Vie En Rose” and presented the Camille Zamora Award to Diane Lokey Farb. Merging with HACS, the organization now reaches approximately 12,500 at six clinics offering primary care for adults, pediatric care, behavioral healthcare, a pharmacy and much more. Photography by Daniel Ortiz EVENT: HEART OF FASHION | WHERE: MILLION AIR HOUSTON Houstonians enjoyed the final night of the three-night philanthropic, consumerbased fashion event at Million Air Houston. Entering on the 50-foot pink carpet and into the world of fashion created by Todd Events, guests enjoyed beautiful designer collections, mingled to the amazing tunes of LG Entertainments and enjoyed light bites from A Fair Extraordinaire, as well as cocktails and champagne. Proceeds from the inaugural Heart of Fashion went to three designated charities: Legacy Community Health Services, Meals on Wheels, and Butterflys and Bandages.
