FOOD | ARTS | COMMUNITY | STYLE+LEISURE M Born between 1982 and 2000, Millennials exceed the size of Baby Boomers (born between 1946 and 1964) by millions and represent more than one-quarter of the nation’s population. Being America’s most racially diverse generation with 57% being White, 21% Hispanic, 13% Black, 6% Asian and 3% other, these Millennials are more likely to be foreign-born and speak a language other than English at home. Being somewhat unattached to organized politics and religion, connected by social media, troubled by debt, skeptical of people, racially diverse, in no rush to marry and positive about the future, Millennials are known to be different from any other generation. www.houstontx.gov/planning/Demographics/docs_pdfs/updates/Millennial_Generation.pdf www.houstontx.gov/planning/Demographics/docs_pdfs/updates/Millennials_Outnumber_Baby_Boomers.pdf www.pewresearch.org ...
