Five weeks of dining deals are here! Starting August 1, you can enjoy delicious lunches, brunches and
dinners at Greater Houston‘s finest restaurants at great prices – and it all benefits the Houston Food Bank.
Houston Restaurant Weeks is the largest annual fundraiser for America‘s largest food bank. Participating
restaurants make donations directly to the organization based upon how many brunches, lunches and dinners
they sell during the event.
Established in 2003 by media personality Cleverley Stone, Houston Restaurant Weeks has raised, to date,
more than $9.6 million to fight hunger in Houston, and has provided almost 29 million meals to neighbors
in need through the Houston Food Bank.

FREE BACK-TO-SCHOOL VACCINATIONS AT CHILDREN’S MUSEUM
OF HOUSTON
Every Thursday (which is Free Family Night) in the month of August,
the Children’s Museum of Houston will be offering free immunizations
for children aged six weeks to 18 years of age. Administered by the
Texas Children’s Mobile Clinic Program, vaccinations are available to
the first 150 children who arrive each day.
To qualify, parents and guardians will need their child’s immunization
records. There’s no need to pre-register.
