Interesting menu and good beer selection. We’ve been a number of times, they have great service, love their glass noodles and gogi beef! Place is pretty small and cozy, really cool buildout. Pretty good menu selection and reasonably priced. We’ve driven by the place numerous times and pulled the trigger one day on a random stop...glad we did. Worth the stop! – Mo D., Yelp PEPPERONI’S PIZZA $ Pizza | 2710 Montrose Blvd. | 713.526.0202 www.pepperonis.net Every time I come here I get greeted by a friendly staff member. The pizza is so amazing that it makes popular chain pizza restaurants taste like crap. I’m serious! I always come in for a medium pizza with extra cheese and double mushrooms. But tonight I came in for the same thing but instead of double mushrooms I went for triple mushrooms. And let me tell you they are not stingy with the mushrooms! I want to compliment the manager for keeping the restaurant clean and friendly. Especially tonight. I always come in for a pizza but never wrote a review. Stay awesome. –Amy T., Yelp RAY’S REAL PIT BBQ $$ Barbeque | 4529 Old Spanish Trail | 713.748.4227 www.raysbbqshack.com Y’all. Y’ALL. This place is EVERYTHING. My stomach and soul are so happy right now I don’t even know where to begin! Fried corn – that’s where. I mean, I never even thought that was or would be a thing but it's GENIUS. We had to get some to-go bc it was that good. We also got potato salad which was on point. Bae got rib tips which were glorious, I got the Jake fries which were everything I could have possibly wanted them to be and so much more. Peach cobbler was a perfect and delicious finish to a perfect delicious meal. The service was just as amazing, too! Niquia (I think that was her name) made us feel right at home and was cracking me up. She took great care of us and made the experience all the more phenomenal. They also have a student/senior/uniform discount! Dare I say that was the best bbq restaurant experience of my life... definitely top 3. –Lola D., Yelp THAI JASMINE RESTAURANT $ Thai | 10900 Kingspoint Rd. | 713.944.0360 www.tjasmine.com Love, love, love this place! I used to go twice a week when I worked closer. A hidden gem off 45 behind Almeda Mall. The sweetest people work here and are always so easy to talk to and hospitable. One time I arrived at the restaurant too early and had to wait for my to-go food. While waiting they put a small bowl of soup and glass of water on the table for me. Not knowing what the soup was, I gave it a try. It was Tom Yum and it's now my favorite soup EVER!!! :) Definitely worth a try if you are craving a fresh-cooked meal and not freezer food from a big chain. Try the veggie rice, Tom Yum Soup and Chicken Satay. – Rose K., Yelp THE LUCKY FIG $$ Food Truck, Italian | 832.776.7507 | www.theluckyfig.com My wife and I have been here a couple of times now and both times have blown our minds. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite food trucks and one of the best spots to get affordable homemade Italian food. Chef Luca is very personable and he remembered my wife and me from our previous visit. He took the time to come out of the truck to talk to us and
