running a formal dinner and a
bar crawl in the autumn term.
What the LMSS Constitution says:
1. Be responsible for the organising of the
Annual Medical Dinner according to the
traditions of the Society, which includes, a
Dinner that is historically attended by the
male Members of the Society.
2. Invite all Trustees of the
Society, The Honorary President,
and The Honorary Life President
to the President’s Reception and
the Annual Medical Ball.
2. The selection of a Master of
Ceremonies for said Dinner, and the
organisation of entertainment and
photography for said Dinner.
Your jobs will also include:
- Deciding a theme for the night
- Producing a budget prior to the event
- Organising Sponsorship for the event
- Liaising with The Adelphi Hotel
- Sorting out the decorations for the venue
- Booking entertainment for the night
- Having tickets produced
- Promoting Annual Ball
- Liaising with the LMSS officers
- Organising the President’s Reception
- General LMSS Committee Duties
Your jobs will also include:

3. The top table for this Dinner shall
comprise The Annual Dinner Chairman,
any Officers or Trustees of the Society
present, The Honorary President if present,
The Honorary Life President if present, the
Master of Ceremonies and any Guest
Speakers.
4. The Master of Ceremonies shall dictate
the format and traditions of the Dinner at all
times
5. Be responsible for the organising of
an annual evening of entertainment in the
hostelries and public houses of Liverpool, an
event colloquially referred to as the Annual
Mens’ Pub Crawl.
