launched the Microsart® @ vance
product line, developed for microbiological applications in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
The @vance offers an intelligent and
functional design, enhanced safety and
more reliable results.
The Microsart @filter unit is a readyto-use, sterile filter unit that combines
a funnel and a gridded membrane
filter, and can be disposed of in an
environmentally friendly manner. No
sterilisation of any filtration equipment
is required prior to filtration. For sample
volumes up to 100ml, the @filter 100
is the ideal device and larger sample
sizes could be easily filtered by the
@filter 250. Marked graduations allow
accurate sample volumes.
The Microsart @filter unit combined
with the @media agar cassettes and
ready-to-use agar plates allows easy
transfer of the filter membrane directly
onto the agar cassettes without the use
of forceps.
The process of producing pharmaceuticals and bringing new drugs to
the market is becoming an increasingly
costly business. The pharmaceutical and
biotech industries are driven by the
