Suit Up-Stark Style

ust when you thought that Tony
Stark’s Iron Man suit would never
become a reality, a group of scientists
have produced the Exosuit. This novel
cast aluminium alloy dive suit is set to
break records by allowing its wearers
to go deeper into the ocean than previously possible. This amazing suit, which
is worth $1.3m, will be making its debut
in the ocean in July.
The Exosuit is a 240kg atmospheric
diving system that is 2m in length. This
remarkable suit will enable divers to dive
to depths of 305m below the surface of
the water without succumbing to the
cold or the intense pressure experienced
at these depths.
Although the Exosuit may not have
the built-in ammunition that Stark’s
Iron Man suit sports, it does feature 1.6
horsepower foot-controlled thrusters
to propel the user through the water.
Unique to this suit are the 18 rotary
joints located in the arms and legs. These
