Gas Analysis LMS  Issue 2 | 2014  19 Combining Process Analysis Experience and KF Titration M etrohm now offers the 875 KF Gas Analyzer for the fully automatic determination of the water content in liquefied gases. The KF Gas Analyzer excels by its robust construction, its ease of operation by way of tiamo™ control and database software, and the strict separation of the gas-carrying system and the electronic area. In this new analyser, Metrohm combines decades of experience in process analysis and Karl Fischer titration. Since the Karl Fischer coulometer is used here, reliable and accurate detection of water S wiss company Novasina’s PascalMaxx is a differential pressure transmitter system with 500Pa and 2000Pa measurement range. The PascalMaxx can be fitted to the HygroMaxx, StatMaxx and TempMaxx for relative humidity/ temperature to compliment the system. An automatic zero point adjustment enables stable and accurate differential pressure value direction and an integrated analogue output and one relay contact right down to trace levels is possible. The system is designed for a maximum pressure of 40bar. Apart from having an integral evaporator for liquefied gases, the ProcessLab Gas Analyzer is also equipped with an inlet filter to separate out particles with an oil filter. A mass flow controller provides precise measurement of the gas flow. Magnetic valves controlled by the software also ensure a fully automated measuring procedure. The ProcessLab Gas Analyzer is supplied with predef ined software methods, so a customer can start measuring immediately after installation. Typical examples of applications are (230V) makes the PascalMaxx versatile and easy in installation. Applications that PascalMaxx can be used in are HVAC filter monitoring and fan controls, fan belt monitoring, room differential pressure monitoring and more. An intuitive menu allows for easy set-up and its large display with high contrast allows for easy reading. Other features such as calibration facilities, filter settings and analogue output adjustments add to its versatility. PascalMaxx features: the measurement of the water content in propane, propene, LPG, butane, butene, ethylene oxide and dimethyl ether. In addition, water determination in permanent gases and other liquefied gases is also possible. ⚛ Metrohm SA Contact: Ravi Issari Tel: 011-656-2686 Email: [email protected] To the PascalMaxx • Automatic zero-point calibration • Integrated dust filter • Additional external dust filter as accessory • Analogue scalable outputs (V or mA) • 230V switch • Two-point calibration (zero and gain) • Intuitive menu (calibration, alarm settings, AO settings and key lock password) • Robust housing (HVAC line such as HygroMaxx) • High cost efficiency. ⚛ Labotec Tel: 011 315 5434 Fax: 011 315-5882 Email: [email protected]
