Gene M. Williams is a partner in Shook, Hardy & Bacon’s Houston office and currently sits on the firm’s Executive Committee. Previously, Mr. Williams was a shareholder with MehaffyWeber, P.C. Mr. Williams has over the last 20 years emphasized the defense of pharmaceutical and medical device cases as well as the representation of businesses in complex business and intellectual property litigation. He has acted as both national and regional counsel for major pharmaceutical concerns and has headed national trial teams in a variety of pharmaceutical and medical device litigation. Mr. Williams has written numerous journal articles and given talks at seminars sponsored by the DRI, FDCC, IADC and the State Bar of Texas.
