Trim the balcony handrail to length . Drill a 1 / 4 " x 1-1 / 2 " pilot hole in the handrail using the Rail Marking Template . Temporarily fasten the handrail to the balcony gooseneck assembly with a 5 / 16 " x 2-1 / 2 " lag bolt and washer . The LJ-3044 VersaTool may simplify this task .
