Atlanta Native, Hannah Marie Jimerson, founded Hannah’ s Hope at the age of 10. Four years later, Hannah and her partner in The Hope Project, Aniceah Leaks are still going strong serving the poor and less fortunate.
Hannah is currently a 9th grade Honor student at Benjamin E. Mays High School in Atlanta, Georgia. She is currently in ROTC and participates in their drill team. She is an active member of her church as well. Her passion includes helping others, reading and dancing. She aspires to be an Anesthesiologist. She is also looking forward to serving her country in the United States Air Force.
Aniceah is currently an 8th grade Gifted & Honor student at Crawford Long Middle School in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a Jr. Beta club member. She participates in the youth dance ministry at her church. Her passion includes reading, cheering and helping others. She aspires to receive the Bill Gates Millennium Award and become a lawyer. She also loves sports!
Hannah’ s Hope also known as The Hope Project is a community partner that spreads the love of Christ throughout the course of the year. You can find Hannah, Aniceah, The Team Moms- Maria and Carnita along with other community partners out in the city of Atlanta, handing out socks, gloves, hats and personal hygiene items to those who may be unable to afford them. They have increased their outreach to include providing meals as well.
Hannah and Aniceah’ s vision and desire for The Hope Project is to one day open a shelter to service those who are less fortunate. They want to have a place where people can come and get meals, clothes and take a shower if needed. This shelter will hopefully be able to provide free health screenings. They would also like to be able to provide transitional resources to those who are looking to change their life and reenter society productively.
