In the vision “He was looking in my direction and He simply said ‘Follow Me’ ” Raised in the Islamic faith, Nikki says she never knew about Jesus but when He spoke to her she jumped up and began researching Him online. “ He was looking in my direction and He simply said ‘Follow Me’ ” In that one instant her life changed forever and now Nikki walks in the light of Jesus Christ. Upon returning from Tehran, she joined a church and got baptized. Now she tells Muslims and other college students they too can have a new life in Jesus Christ. She recounts another encounter with Jesus where she wanted to end it all. “On one such occasion, I was sitting in the bathtub, determined to die sooner than later, and I saw him reach His loving hand toward me and tell me to take it. The overwhelming love I felt, the acceptance, and the confidence I felt in myself was so incredible in that moment that I have never contemplated suicide again. No longer walking in darkness and depression, Nikki offers hope for those who are suffering. She says the best way to break through crippling anxiety is to soak in His presence and change your environment. BECAUSE…He loves the true me. What more is better than that? Trust me. But after a while of trusting God, listening to a Christian radio channel everyday on the radio, surrounding myself with good people, and getting help for my anxiety, I began to see results.
