In the vision “He was looking
in my direction and He simply
said ‘Follow Me’ ”
Raised in the Islamic faith,
Nikki says she never knew
about Jesus but when He
spoke to her she jumped up
and began researching Him
online.
“
He was
looking in
my direction
and He
simply said
‘Follow Me’
”
In that one instant her life
changed forever and now
Nikki walks in the light of
Jesus Christ. Upon returning
from Tehran, she joined a
church and got baptized.
Now she tells Muslims and
other college students they too can have a new life in Jesus Christ.
She recounts another
encounter with Jesus
where she wanted to end
it all.
“On one such occasion, I
was sitting in the bathtub,
determined to die sooner
than later, and I saw him
reach His loving hand
toward me and tell me to
take it.
The overwhelming love I
felt, the acceptance, and
the confidence I felt in
myself was so incredible
in that moment that I
have never contemplated
suicide again.
No longer walking in darkness and depression, Nikki offers hope
for those who are suffering. She says the best way to break
through crippling anxiety is to soak in His presence and change
your environment. BECAUSE…He loves the true me. What more is better than that?
Trust me. I thought I was the worst of the worst.
“I had many sleepless nights when I cried myself to sleep and kept
myself isolated. But after a while of trusting God, listening to a
Christian radio channel everyday on the radio, surrounding myself
with good people, and getting help for my anxiety, I began to see
results. I was found again.” I believe in that too, for YOU. Because you are special.”
But He is uncovering within me something so juicy and SO
GOOD.

Nikki knows fighting depression and anxiety is a battle of the mind
and she gives these tips for people looking for freedom from this
illness “The only way it will keep getting darker is if you stay there
and get trapped in those specific thoughts. The enemy is planting
those there (for a reason).”
Nikki believes God will intervene in your dark moments “God will
literally put His hand out and say “Take my hand”
