I’m not very fast, but speed has never been my goal. I like to go for long runs in hopes of doing a marathon again – yes, a marathon when Tanya Tyler • [email protected] I’m Living Well 50 Plus (I did my first one back in 1994. It’s time to do another one!). It helps a lot to have people honk their horns at me and give me a thumbs up. That gives me the motivation and inspiration I need to keep going. And I hope in turn that I am being an inspiration to others. Perhaps someone will see me out there slogging along and think, “Hm, if she can do it, so can I.” So if you happen to see me out on the road, toot your horn at me and watch me pick up my head and my pace. I hope soon to start doing 5K races again. The best part of that is, I might very well be the only person in my age group in some of these races, so I’ll win all the medals and trophies – unless, of course, you decide to get out there and run, too. I hope you do. Tanya
