wealth management is “a strategy
that encompasses all parts of an
individual’s financial life: financial
planning, investment strategy, tax
strategy and legal/estate planning
strategy.”
In other words, the goal is to
use your nest egg to enhance
your life. “A wealth management
advisor should identify seven life
priorities: health, family, home,
work, giving, leisure and finances,” said Mollie Brennan, vice
president and wealth manager at
Merrill Lynch in Lexington. She
wraps a “goals-based” wealthmanagement process around
these priorities in a way that
allows you to accomplish things
in your life that mean the most to
you.
“True wealth is about much
more than money. It’s about
achieving life,” said Brennan.
