If you’re a layperson with little
knowledge of cars, the name Carroll Shelby may not mean much
to you.
But if you have any interest in

Ford, Shelby is a household word.
Cars with the name Shelby attached to them have always been
put in a special class. When Shelby first developed his company
in 1962, the goal was to provide
high-end parts for high-quality
cars and to render personalized
modifications to collector and
high-end vehicles. With factories
based in California, Michigan

officially entered the car market,
his company teamed with Ford
Motor Company to create some of

of the 1960s and to win the World
Sportscar Championship in 1965.

vehicles with many different
designs and styles off the Ford
line between 1965-70. Today they
remain some of the most collected
and sought-after cars in the entire
Ford canon. Though
