be profiling some dynamic centenarians – people
who are 100 years old and still going strong. It is
my personal ambition to make it to 100. My great
grandmother lived to be 98, my grandmother lived to
be 89 and my mother was just short of 80 when she
died. I hope this means longevity is in my genes.
My one caveat for living to triple digits is to be able
to stay active. I believe we lay the groundwork for this
possibility in this prior half century. That means we
have to get out and go and do and have fun and enjoy
life. Of course, sometimes health problems crop up
and we can’t do much about that, but we can strive
to eat well, keep moving and stay healthy. That’s my
resolution for 2015. What’s yours?
Tanya
