Basic Balsamic Vinaigrette

Servings : 4 – 6
Ingredients : 60 ml balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard 1 small red onion , peeled and cut into large chunks 1 teaspoon minced garlic 1 teaspoon honey or brown sugar 2 drops Lemon essential oil 180 ml extra virgin olive oil Salt and pepper
Instructions :
1 . Place the vinegar , mustard , onion , garlic , honey and Lemon essential oil in a blender , blending until combined and the onion is finely chopped .
2 . Slowly add the olive oil .
3 . Add salt and pepper to taste and transfer to an airtight container . Store in the refrigerator until ready to enjoy over your favourite salad .
