For many years, do-TERRA has unified its efforts with renowned scientists and researchers around
the world, and it is now time to share that knowledge though direct patient care. I, like many of you,
have been excited since the announcement of the do-TERRA healthcare initiative. Much has been
accomplished thus far, and anticipation is at an all-time high. From its inception, do-TERRA has
fostered the use of essential oils in the home, as well as traditional medical environments. There
is now great awareness and progressive study of essential oils in nearly all aspects of science, including
their use as a complement to modern medical therapeutics.
Progressive Healthcare
While many have deemed the do-TERRA healthcare plan to be
disruptive, I have personally thought of it in much simpler
terms. Through my own experience, I have come to believe
it is a natural advancement and progression of traditional
medical practice; one that will meet the demands and
needs of a more informed and savvy patient community.
This initiative represents a culmination of a decade long
effort to share essential oils with the world and that interest
is growing. With construction well underway in Utah on the
first of many clinics, this progression is long overdue. Imag-
ine highly skilled medical professionals working without the
limitation of inadequate time and other common practice
controls. This highly collaborative partnership between
physician and patient will most assuredly stimulate the
ongoing proliferation of essential oil benefits for personal
health. These innovative methods are practiced currently at
the do-TERRA employee clinic with great success.
share relevant information to physicians through learned
practice methods. Traditionally, there has not been a reliable
point of reference for medical practitioners. One of many tools
recently developed by do-TERRA is real-time communication
between physicians allowing their personal practice methods
for essential oils to be shared. Specific protocol development
will be determined through ongoing clinical experience. This
network of information is the first undertaking of its kind
and will allow for a substantial knowledge base specific to
do-TERRA that highlights quality, uniqueness, and exclusivity
of do-TERRA oils.
Increased Awareness of Essential Oils
It is with high confidence that we believe continued success
is inevitable. I am looking forward to the increased aware-
ness of essential oils as many will have the opportunity to
experience them as an accepted and meaningful component
of their healthcare practice.
Creating a Patient-Physician Relationship Continuing Research
As you can imagine, there have been many challenges
in our progression to our current state. We have been
fortunate to partner with many highly skilled physicians
from several regions in the United States who will be key
in fostering the correct patient environment and practice
methodology. We are looking forward to introducing each
of them in the near future. Despite the marked increase in scientific research of essential
oils, there is still need for more relevant studies through
human clinical trials. do-TERRA is directly responsible for the
approximate 200 clinical trials of essential oils, and has
published four in-house clinical trials involving proprietary
products and application methods, something nobody else
in the industry has done. The do-TERRA healthcare initiative
provides a unique opportunity to collect data that will help
determine best practices.
Knowledge Base for Physicians
Reliability of information is of utmost importance. do-TERRA
has been highly influential in the positioning and modern-day
acceptance of essential oils. Through our continued efforts
in healthcare, we are in a unique position to responsibly
