New Loan Centers
A new loan center in Nepal was funded by
the dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation
in March 2018, making microcredit lending
available for the first time in Nepal with
Mentors International. Next, a new loan
center was funded in Trujillo, Peru, by the
dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation to
further support a country where Mentors
International has operated loan centers for
several years. Finally, in December 2018,
funding provided by the dōTERRA Healing
Hands Foundation helped establish a new
loan center in the Dominican Republic.
Several noteworthy contributions were made to the microcredit
lending efforts of Mentors International in 2018.

Ongoing Support
The dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation
also continued to offer support to Mentors
International loan centers and programs in
Guatemala and the Philippines in 2018.
Expanding in Ghana
The dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation
funded a new loan center in Northern
Ghana in 2018, near the Tamale branch that
was funded and established in 2017. This
is the third loan center in Ghana funded by
the dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation
through Mentors International. All Ghana
locations received ongoing support from the
dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation in 2018.
Volcán del Fuego Relief
Mentors International and the dōTERRA
Healing Hands Foundation worked together
to distribute relief supplies to those
displaced or recovering from the eruption
of Guatemala’s Volcán del Fuego eruption
in June of 2018.
