The Hope Venture | India
Wellness Advocate Christy Hald completed a matching grant to support
the Hope Venture, a nonprofit based in her community. The Hope Venture
uses education and health projects to bring hope to people in India, Kenya,
and Uganda.
As a result of this matching grant, the Hope Venture provided 200 children
with backpacks and school supplies, as well as served over 45,000 meals to
individuals in India. By providing these meals and school supplies, the Hope
Venture is empowering individuals to pursue higher education and jobs and is
combating malnutrition in communities throughout India.
At the end of 2019, Christy
had just completed
her second fundraising
campaign with the dōTERRA
Healing Hands Foundation ®
and the Hope Venture,
which will support a feeding
and education program
in Aagaramthen, Chennai,
India, and Kalandra,
Tamilnadu, India. These
projects are anticipated to
be completed in 2020.
