Shanghai Children’s Medical Center
In partnership with Wellness Advocates, dōTERRA ® China Helping Hands (the title used
to describe dōTERRA Healing Hands projects in China) contributed five million RMB over
four years to the National Children’s Medical Center (Shanghai Children’s Medical Center).
These funds have been used to help children who have rare and complicated diseases
to receive treatment.
The donations also helped the hospital introduce the most advanced diagnostic tool for
children’s autism, set up a database for these children, and provide educational courses
for parents on improving communication with their autistic children.
Madagascar Medical Clinic
In 2016, the dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation ® partnered with the people of Nosy Be,
Madagascar, to open a mobile health clinic in order to provide the people of Madagascar
with reliable healthcare. Because the clinic is on wheels, it has offered medical help to
10 village communities.
The dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation is thrilled to report that, in 2019, a permanent
clinic was built at the Ylang Ylang distillation compound, benefitting over 500 members
of the growing and harvesting cooperative. The clinic is staffed and supplied to handle
more serious health issues, as well as maternity care. Additionally, the clinic serves as a
distribution point for mobile clinic officers to collect supplies for their visits in outlying villages.
Cooperative members pay a small monthly fee for their medical services.

National Autism Society of Malaysia
National Autism Society of Malaysia (NASOM) is a nongovernmental welfare
organization in Malaysia, established in 1987 by a group of concerned parents
and professionals. NASOM is now the largest autism service provider in
Malaysia, with 20 intervention centers, and is currently serving 500 autistic
children and their parents with education and resources. The dōTERRA ®
Malaysia team plans to use Rose Hand Lotion and dōTERRA Hope ® Touch
sales from their market to purchase an Urvan for the organization.
Additionally, Malaysia Wellness Advocates had the opportunity to meet
with children who benefit from this program and deliver cookies, as well as
host a few educational seminars to promote inclusion in the community and
additional fundraising.
