SPRING.
Welcome to September! The start of spring. It’s a
delicious feeling just writing that.
September is such a beautiful month.
I’ve always seen it as a month of
beginnings, the start of a new cycle.
Spring slowly beckons us out of the cold with
the promise of summer dresses and long warm
evenings. We shrug off the shroud of winter and
emerge into the sunshine, stretching luxuriously as
the sun kisses our skin with warmth once again.
It’s such a lovely feeling, that first day of wearing
short sleeves and feeling the warm air brushing
against your skin, welcoming and friendly.
Spring offers us a time of renewed activity. The
awakening of our bodies as they shake off the
sluggishness of winter. It’s a time of moving
back into our bodies. In winter we nurtured them
(possibly a little too much hot chocolate and red
wine around the fire?!).
In this edition we look at just what it means to
be active in a mindful, nurturing way, discovering
how our bodies can benefit from the gentle arts of
Tai Chi and Yoga.
You will be reading some wonderful articles about
brain health and learning some practical ways for
keeping hay fever at bay.
