Your thoughts are magnetic and absolutely key to creating the kind of life you want to be living on a consistent basis. Your thoughts create your words, which create your actions, which create your results, which create your habits. What kind of results and habits do you currently have in your life? Next month we will be looking at how our beliefs impact our decisions, our habits and ultimatley the reality we have created for ourselves. That being said, even before our thought there is something else. Something that drives us to that thought from all the other thousand thought deviations we could have taken. That is our belief system. Consciously or unconconsciouly we have beliefs in place which we base our decision making on each and every day. Would you like to have a conscious choice over what those beliefs are? What You Focus On Is What You Get. Think about your answers and how they relate to where you are in your life right now. Are the times when you are most happy experienced on a daily basis or are you allowing ‘life to get in the way’? One of the keys I have learnt when making a decision is that there is no failure in life, there are only results from the actions we do or do not take. They may be results you like ie. receiving a promotion at work, or results you don’t like, ie. low energy as a result of unhealthy eating habits. Neither one is a failure, they are simply the results you have achieved as a result of the action you have taken. Knowing what your true passions and your values are will allow you to direct your actions and achieve the results you want with ease and clarity. 30 There will only be one question you need to ask yourself: “Will this decision lead me closer to or further away from my ultimate vision?” “If you keep on doing what you’ve always done, you’ll keep on getting what you’ve always got” There is a Universal Law that states: What You Focus On Is What You Get. The more you dwell on what you think you are missing in your life, the more energy you are giving it and the more it will perpetuate in your life. On the flip side, if you are focusing on what you do have in your life, from a space of gratitude, appreciation and optimism, you will generate more of this in your life.
